This high quality, complete system, provides the Carer with the ability to carry a pager that will alert them if the patient is starting to get up from bed or chair. Package includes both long term bed and chair sensor pads, a high quality (SILENT) monitor, plus a wireless pager with an approximate range of 300' (90 meters). There is no alarm in patient's room. 

The Carer pager features:

• Adjustable volume
• Can be set to vibrate only option (great for carers who are hard of hearing)
• A visual alert indicator
• Can be up to 300' (approx. 90 meters) from the bed/chair pad.

With this package you have the option to either have a standard bed pad (10'' x 30'') or a larger bed pad (20'' x 30''). For patients who are light weight (under 10 stone, 140 pounds) they will benefit from one of our larger pads which is 20'' x 30'' (50cm x 76cm). Sometimes using our smaller pad with a light weight patient can create false alarms as there is not enough weight distributed onto the pad which is needed to trigger the alarm. The larger pad has a larger surface area so there is more of the patient on the pad. Select from the drop down menu which package you would prefer.

The bed pad should be positioned in patient's bed, under the lower sheet. Chair pad is placed on the seat of the chair. Each pad attaches to the wireless monitor which is silent in the patient's room (except for two quick beeps when patient first sits on pad). When the patient starts to lift their weight off the pad, the monitor sends a wireless signal to pager which will alert the Carer. (Alarm requires three AA batteries and pager two AA batteries, these are not included).

This is a high grade wireless system designed for home care and nursing home use. Alarm and pads are well made and resilient and will provide long term monitoring. Pads are incontinence resistant and made from a soft, cushioned vinyl which is easily cleaned.

As an Additional Option, you can order an AC Adapter to power your alarm (select in the drop down menu when ordering) The AC Adapter is a power lead for the alarm monitor, the lead does not charge the monitor. We recommend you always keep batteries in your alarm as a back-up to your AC adapter in case you lose power and are not aware.  Some customers use the AC adapter at night and batteries only during the day. And by using the AC adapter, you will cut down on the replacement cost of the batteries over time.

(This system does not require an internet or other wireless connection to work. But is an independent wireless system which is programmed to work one to one and requires no additional items)
