How the System Works

Placement: The chair pad is placed on the seat, directly under the patient. (you can place it in a pillowcase to make it discreet if needed)

Connection: The pad features a cord that plugs into a small alarm unit.

Mounting: The alarm unit can be clipped to the side of a chair, placed nearby, or mounted to a wall.

Activation: When the patient stands and their weight is lifted from the pad, the alarm sounds instantly in the room.
Resetting the Alarm
To silence the alarm, the carer simply presses the Reset button on the front of the unit.
If the patient sits back down on the pad, the system will also reset and be ready to detect the next attempt to stand.
Optional AC Adapter:
You can choose to add an AC adapter for the alarm when placing your order (available in the drop-down menu). This adapter powers the alarm but does not charge it. We recommend keeping batteries in the alarm as a backup in case of power loss. The AC adapter helps reduce the long-term cost of battery replacements.
