Dual Alarm – Bed & Chair Exit Monitoring in One System

The Dual Alarm offers two types of exit alerts in one convenient device! This all-in-one package includes a dual alarm monitor, a bed sensor pad, and a chair sensor pad, allowing you to monitor both the bed and chair with a single alarm unit. You can even record your own 15-second voice message to play when the patient attempts to get up.

Custom Voice Recording

The alarm includes a feature that allows you to record a 15-second personalized message. For example: "Mum, Please sit back down, I’ll be there in a moment."

This message will play instead of a standard alarm tone when the patient tries to stand.

Note: This alarm sounds in the patient’s room. For silent in-room monitoring, consider our wireless alarm options.

Sensor Pads Included

Bed Sensor Pad

• Size: 10" x 30" (25cm x 76cm) OR 20'' x 30'' (50cm x 76cm)

• For patients under 140 lbs (10 stone), we recommend the larger 20" x 30" (50cm x 76cm) pad to prevent false alarms. Lightweight patients may not apply enough pressure on smaller pads to activate the alarm

Chair Sensor Pad

• Size: 10" x 15" (25cm x 38cm)

• Comfort: Foam interior for pressure-free seating

How to Use

Using the Bed Pad

1. Place the bed pad under the lower sheet, around the patient’s middle back area.

2. Connect the pad to the dual alarm monitor.

3. When the patient attempts to get up, the alarm (or your recorded message) will sound.

4. To reset, either:

   • Press the reset button on the alarm

   • Or have the patient sit back on the pad

Using the Chair Pad

1. Place the chair pad on the seat of the chair.

2. Connect it to the dual alarm.

3. As with the bed pad, the alarm will sound when the patient tries to stand and can be reset in the same way.

Power Options & Accessories

• Battery Operation: Requires 3 AA batteries (not included)

• AC Adapter (Optional):

  • Can be selected at checkout

  • Powers the alarm via wall outlet (does not charge it)

  • Tip: Use batteries as a backup during power outages
