• Motion sensor can be programmed to either a wireless alarm monitor (which does not have to be an Austin Medical alarm monitor) or a existing nurse call system!                                                                                                                         

• The motion sensor sends a signal to either a wireless alarm monitor or a nurse call system, which alerts the carer when someone gets out of bed or enters/exits a room, depending on where the motion sensor is placed.

• TO MONITOR PATIENT/RESIDENT GETTING OUT OF BED - Place the motion sensor on the side of the bed, at the headboard end, facing the foot of the bed; when the legs come over the side of the bed, the motion sensor sends a wireless signal to the alarm monitor or nurse call system, alerting the carer. 

• TO MONITOR PATIENT/RESIDENT ENTERING OR EXITING A ROOM/BUILDING - Attach the motion sensor to the door frame, either on the side so that it faces across the door or on top of the door, facing the floor. When someone walks through the door, the motion sensor sends a wireless signal to the alarm monitor or nurse call system, alerting the carer.                                                
• If you are using with a existing nurse call system, you will also need a 433-EC alarm monitor (which you can find using our website's search bar) and a nurse call lead, which you may select from the dropdown menu beneath the 'you may also require' section above.
