This is a wonderful bed and chair exit system which is ideal for caring for the elderly, and/or those with dementia or Alzheimer's.  By not having the alarm in the room where the patient is located, they will not become confused or upset by the alert noise. However, the carer will hear the alert immediately, even outside of the building.

Alarm and bed pad both come with a one year manufacturer's warranty. The bed sensor pad measures 10'' x 30'' (25cm x 76cm) it's incontinence resistant and features a foam interior for patient comfort. For patients who are light weight (under 10 stone, 140 pounds) they will benefit from one of our larger pads which is 20'' x 30'' (50cm x 76cm). Sometimes using our smaller pad with a light weight patient can create false alarms as there is not enough weight distributed onto the pad which is needed to trigger the alarm. The larger pad has a larger surface area so there is more of the patient on the pad. Select from the drop down menu which package you would prefer.

This package includes a high quality cordfree alert monitor and long term bed and chair exit sensor pads.

Place the bed pad under the bottom sheet in the bed, and place the chair pad in the seat of the chair.

When the patient starts to remove their weight from the pad, it sends a wireless signal to the alarm monitor which the Carer can keep with them up to 300 feet (90 meters) from the pads. 

By placing the bed pad in the middle back area of the patient, you will receive the alert when they sit up, and before they start to put their legs over the side of the bed, when trying to stand.

The carer can have the alarm with them so that any time, day or night, they will receive an immediate alert that their patient is sitting up and trying to get out of bed.

As an Additional Option, you can order an AC Adapter to power your alarm (select in the drop down menu when ordering) The AC Adapter is a power lead for the alarm monitor, the lead does not charge the monitor. We recommend you always keep batteries in your alarm as a back-up to your AC adapter in case you lose power and are not aware.  Some customers use the AC adapter at night and batteries only during the day. And by using the AC adapter, you will cut down on the replacement cost of the batteries over time.

This system does not require an internet or other wireless connection to work. But is an independent wireless system which is programmed to work one to one and requires no additional items.
